Background
Sibusiso Skhosana from Soshanguve, better known to the audience as Sba Pioneer, is a trap producer influenced by South African Barcadi music and Trap. Sibusiso took interest in music at the age of 9 years in 2003 when his brother brought Ejay home on a CD and they started making loops together. In 2011 he made his first beat as Sba Pioneer the producer, later that year joining UNISA Soshanguve Music Ochrim to study music theory under the late virtuoso Tebogo Blos.

Being a piano enthusiast Sba's music always has traces of keys in it - most of his compositions have a slow tempo, bouncy drum patterns and vibey melodie or at times sweet piano melodies accompanied by throbbing 808s.
